It's now 1st of October 2013. Another week to wait. (evil laugh).
Trip to Kuching?
How was my trip to Kuching? hmm. I must say, it's f****** awesome!! I had so much fun hanging out with the coolest people ever! My friend's wedding was supreme! I was her bridesmaid and I look f****** ugly but my friend was pretty. She was like a princess. I am so happy for her. Now she has her husband to take care of. I can't wait for her to have a baby. I miss her so much right now.
Where did I go?
I went to Serikin and they told me that place is where the Indonesian people sell clothes, accessories, shoes etc. It's only opened on weekend. I bought bag, batik shirt and kain batik and key-chains. It took 45 minutes from Bau to Serikin.
First time arrived Kuching?
It was the second time I went to Kuching. The first time I went to Kuching, I was 6-year-old(if not mistaken).
I arrived late because my flight was delayed. I was sitting the last seat and it was so uncool! I couldn't sleep. As soon I arrived the airport, my friend's brother (Adom) fetched me since my friend was busy with her rehearsal. I couldn't remember her brother face but I managed to recognize him. He was bald. Haha. He said "Sharon" and I said :"Yes". I wasn't alone. Her mum's friend came with her son and husband too. So I sat at the back seat and I was on silent mode. Haha. It took about half hour to arrive to Audrey's home.
When we arrived, her home was so peaceful and nice. The environment was so nice.I felt safe there. I shook hands with her mother and she didn't recognize me at first and she thought I was with her friend. Haha. I forgive her. It's not her fault, after all it's been like almost 8 year. Her village is at Kampung Suba Bau and I tried so hard to memorize it. LOL. I was super excited and happy finally I arrived Kuching ALONE!.
We were sitting at the backyard and it was nice. All I can see is green. I love the nature. I was looking at KP's(Audrey) wedding albums. She is so pretty. Like I am looking for a perfect gown for my wedding. Haha. We ate cucur(if it was a cucur), drank cola and wait until KP arrived. She arrived and greeted us all. It's awkward. After chit-chat, we went to a saloon to test my dress.
The next day?
Woke up at 7.00a.m and went to saloon for makeup and changed my clothes. My partner and I went home for awhile and rushing to the church. KP was already there. My partner and I didn't know what to do because it was our first time (fyi, my partner is handsome). We were like "what to do?". Haha. Very funny indeed. I was holding rings. I wanted to cry at that time because I was so happy seeing my best friend on her wedding dress. She is officially married!! After the wedding at the church, we took pictures(mine only few) and went straight home. We have our lunch break before dinner.
At 4.00 p.m, my partner and I went to saloon for another makeover(only me did the makeup and my partner was doing his braids). I wanted a straight hair so I asked the person to do straight hair. I f***** love it! We went back and I wore my night gown and I look super emo! Haha. Everything was purple. My partner looked great. Went to the hall and waited for everybody to arrive. Shook hands and they thought I was the bride. Haha. My handbag and my partner(Abin)'s blazer were full with angpau. I thought I was with my boyfriend. We sat at the same table with the couple. Abin(my partner) and I was talking like not talking at all(if you know what I mean) since we're both shy person. We were laughing on something that wasn't funny. So funny! We're like kids.
After everything ended, it's time for clubbing!! (Kampung style). Live band and we all get on the floor. We danced until 2.30 a.m. (I didn't drink, fyi). Tired, exhausted and happy. KP went back Kuching and I stayed with my adoptive family.
The next day?
It was Sunday, they went to church and I was on my bed. LOL. Woke up and Abin was there sitting and I felt so embarrassed. (Let it be a secret). I like him but as a brother (if he was older than me, acceptable) Haha. Just kidding. Adom likes to tease me a lot. He is so funny and friendly. Feels like a brother to me. Like a real brother. We had breakfast, dinner and so on.
Monday; the last day I will be at Suba Bau. We all went to the airport to send Auntie Mimie and her family. My flight was at night (I had to make excuse for not going to work). Uncle/Bapa drove back to Bau and we had breakfast at Pekan Bau. After that, we went back and Audrey was there opening her presents. I helped a little at the kitchen. Watching uncle/Papa making his delicious Ambal, fishes and vegetables and we talked a bit and he said ' if next time you come here, you don't have to be shy.' I was touched. After lunch ( I ate a lot even though I was fulled because I won't be testing the tastiest foods from them anymore), I followed KP back to Kuching. It was a sad farewell, I hugged auntie and Amen uncle. So grateful to be part of their family.
At Kuching, I asked KP to bring me round Kuching and took pictures with the cats and we ate ABC at the shopping mall. At 4 o'clock we went back to Audrey's apartment. We changed clothes and went swimming. Her apartment so nice and very quite. I wish I can stay there for another week but I couldn't. Need to work to earn money.
At Night, she brought me to the amazing food court. Very delicious and there was a lot of foods. I was fulled but I ate! Haha. Went back for awhile and straight to airport(fyi, I left my glasses there). My flight delayed and have to wait until 12.30a.m. I arrived KK around 2.30a.m and the next day was a working day. Gosh!!
